Sitting on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, I couldn't help but be reminded of the tranquility of a zen garden.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of Stable Lodge. The decorations were tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. As a senior, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it convenient for me to move around comfortably.
I would have preferred the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. Having someone readily available to assist and provide information would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for senior people like me.

The warm colors and comfortable furniture made me feel right at home. The general areas, like the garden and terrace, were lovely to spend time in, especially with the beautiful views. As a senior, I really appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with everything conveniently located and easy to navigate.
I would have preferred more assistance from the staff, especially for us seniors. It would have been nice to have someone readily available to help with any special needs or concerns we may have had during our stay.

Stayed at a holiday home where I could hike and cycle, with a garden and terrace. Oh, and complimentary private parking! Oxford was only 11 km away, perfect for a day trip.
Towels were featured, but I guess washing them would have been too much to ask.

Loved the stunning views and location. Sitting on the porch and taking in the beautiful surroundings was absolutely blissful. The grounds keeper, Dave, was super friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on nearby walks. The highlight was definitely feeding the adorable resident horse Willow - my kids were over the moon!
Our xmas stay was far from perfect. The lack of basic amenities was a major letdown.

The staff, especially Dave the groundskeeper, were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing lots of useful information and even letting my son ride in the jeep buggy.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a more varied menu option.
